Description

The stage is set for another year of high-level economic activity. In this type of an economy, agricultural prospects are generally good. But, some weakening is possible late in the year. A stable or gently-rising level of wholesale prices is expected during most of 1953. Prices received by farmers may tend downward and prices paid, steady to upward. Net farm income may be a little lower than in 1952.
