You are invited to participate in the initial and very important stage of the automotive care and safety project. The project is being tested this first year in only a few selected counties in about thirty States. Your satisfactions and results in the months ahead will determine what the project will eventually become. A significant feature of the 4-H Club program is its potential for growth and expansion. The automotive care and safety project offers an example. Here real needs exist. The tremendous impact of the automotive age on our lives makes it imperative that we have more educational opportunities to learn the safe operation and care of automobiles. This project presented in the informal setting of 4-H Club work will fill a great need.
