Description
The object of this publication is to provide helpful information and suggestions which may result in a better property tax than now exists. What does "improving the property tax" mean? Before improvement can be made, we must first study the current property tax structure. From this study and other information problem areas can be spotted. These problem areas include tax equalization, true and full assessment of property and the assessment or administrative machinery. Improvements can be made in each of these areas.
