Description
This publication notes some basic and non-reversible trends in South Dakota communities and proposes guidelines of those counties that may constitute a viable economic unit and a base for growth and development. Reasons for change in communities, methods of determining functional trade areas, and suggestions for groupings of counties are discussed.
