Description
This publication provides information on using high-energy or low-energy feed in winter rations for beef cows. It describes how to provide an adequate ration at the least possible cost. Nutritive requirements, substituting grain for hay, differences in protein content in rations, as well as feeding problems, a substitution guide, how to feed grain, and providing the proper vitamins and minerals are also explained.
