Description
South Dakota farmers are using 240,000 tons, or about seven times as much fertilizer today as they were 10 years ago. About one-half of the fertilizer used in South Dakota is used for corn production, yet it is estimated that we could profitably use at least three to four times this amount of fertilizer on corn alone.
