Abstract
This document discusses modern home economics extension services. A staff of home economists, employed by the South Dakota Cooperative Extension Service, works with families to bring them reliable information that is both timely and useful. In the local community is the county home agent, who works with people in her county. A staff of specialists in the various areas of home economics works with the agents to help South Dakotans take advantage of new technology and other fast-moving changes that affect the well-being of the family.
