Abstract

This brochure provides an overview of the Missouri Basin dams and Inter-Agency Committee establishment. It highlights the power, flood control, irrigation, and municipal water supply, as well as navigation, wildlife, and recreation benefits of the Missouri River Plan. Information on funding, planning and implementation of current and future projects outlined in the plan is also included, as well as the provisions of the Flood Control Act of 1944.
