Abstract

The Financial Aid Office administers student financial assistance programs, including federal and state financial aid, scholarships, and governmental agency awards. This collection is composed mainly of scholarship pamphlets. Also included is a small amount of material dealing with financial aid information.

Historical Note

The Financial Aid Office administers student financial assistance programs, including federal and state financial aid, scholarships, and governmental agency awards—BIA, Veterans Administration, Vocational Rehabilitation, etc. Approximately 80% of the South Dakota State University students attending full-time receive some type of financial assistance to help pay their educational costs. The Financial Aid Office determines educational costs.

Content Notes

This collection is composed of items published by the Financial Aid Office. The bulk of the material consists of scholarship pamphlets, including material for the School of Agriculture. Also included is information on financial aid available at South Dakota State University.
