Proceedings of the South Dakota Academy of Science, 2020, Volume 99. The Proceedings of the One-Hundred-Fifth (105th) Annual Meeting of the South Dakota Academy of Science held on April 16–18, 2020, was cancelled to prevent community spread of the coronavirus COVID-19. It was then rescheduled to November 5–7, 2020, but again was cancelled for the same reason. Instead, a business-only meeting was held via videoconference on November 7. Thus, the papers and abstracts contained in this volume were not presented orally or as posters. The Proceedings include consolidated minutes, full papers submitted for presentation, abstracts of research papers and posters submitted for presentation, and memorials for Milton Hanson, Gary E. Larson, and H. L. Hutcheson.
