Abstract
What happens during an eclipse? Where are positions of the objects in space to create an eclipse? What’s the difference between a solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse? This model supports the exploration of the answers to the above questions. Demonstrating the positioning of the eclipse highlights the positions of the Earth and the Moon during a Solar eclipse and a Lunar eclipse which helps learners to visually understand the difference between the two eclipses.
Supplemental files include two demonstration videos (.mov files)
