Abstract
Please be advised that the individuals listed in the program do not represent official confirmation of meeting the graduation requirements. The 116th Annual Commencement ceremony will commence with introductions by University President Peggy Gordon Miller. Honorary marshals for the event are D. Marge J. Hegge, Distinguished Professor of Nursing, Director of Academic Evaluation and Assessment, Title III Coordinator, and Bush Project Director, along with Dr. A. Lowell Slyter, Professor Emeritus of Animal and Range Sciences. Delivering the commencement address, titled "Search for Meaning Along Life's Journey," will be Tamara R. Gardner, a candidate for graduation. Dr. Carol J. Peterson will acknowledge faculty and student honors. Recognizing Army and Air Force commissions will be LTC Keith Corbett of Army ROTC and Lt. Col. Richard Runchey of Air Force ROTC. Additionally, honorary Doctor of Human Letters degrees will be conferred upon Arthus Amioitte and Paul Goble, while Sister Mary Damon Nolan will be recognized with a Doctor of Public Service honorary degree.
