Abstract
Please be advised that the individuals listed in the program do not officially confirm meeting the graduation requirements. Honorary marshals for the Spring 1978 Graduation Exercises are George Semeniuk, Professor Emeritus of Plant Science and Microbiology, and Alfred L. Musson, Professor Emeritus of Animal Science. Dr. Clifton R. Wharton, Jr., Chancellor of the State University of New York will deliver the commencement address. Honorary degree recipients are Paul Batcheller, Doctor of Agriculture, Melvin Manning, Doctor of Engineering, and Alvida Sorenson, Doctor of Humanities. President Sherwood O. Berg will confer degrees and present diplomas. Lt. Col. Patrick Hosman and Col. Kendell O. Iverson will recognize Army and Air Force officer commissions. Harold S. Bailey, Jr., will acknowledge student honors.
