Description
Volodymyr Melnykov received his MS degree in Applied Statistics from Bowling Green State University (2005) and PhD in Statistics from Iowa State University (2009). Currently, Volodymyr is a Professor of Statistics at the University of Alabama, where he also serves as an Associate Department Head in the Department of Information Systems, Statistics, and Management Science. Volodymyr's research interests include finite mixture models, model-based cluster analysis, data visualization, and open source software.
