Abstract
This investigation evaluated the nitrogen considerations of the Brookings pilot unit with emphasis on new information provided by the 1978 operations. The specific objectives were as follows:
1. To evaluate the nitrogen removal efficiencies of the high-rate system, and
2. To investigate selected factors related to the nitrogen removals obtained by the basins.
