Abstract
This research project attempts to project financial growth (or decline) and survival prospects of a simulated cash grain farm in South Dakota within nine years (1989 – 1997) under alternative economic scenarios. This research is intended to provide farm owners, farm operators and the agricultural policy makers with some knowledge about major factors affecting farm growth and survival. The dynamic farm simulation model employed in the research is FLIPSIM V.
