Abstract
Objectives of the study include:
1. Determine the overall rate of sepsis within an intensive care nursery in a midwestern state.
2. Describe the methods and conditions of percutaneous central venous catheter placement.
3. Determine the incidence of sepsis in the neonate when a percutaneous central venous catheter is placed.
