Abstract
This study focused on interpersonal communication curriculum with regard to course content. The current study used a content analysis to evaluate interpersonal communication course syllabi from 18 public and private four-year universities in the Midwest. The research elicited assumptions about interpersonal communication, in terms of the role it has, the content, and it's importance in communication curriculum.
