Abstract
This study surveyed key decision makers in the largest pork production operations in the United States in an attempt to find out where their employees should obtain pork industry information. Pork industry magazines consistently ranked first, second or third as sources of information about specific topics for employees of the largest operations. A need was identified for industry-wide training programs. A pork-industry-wide standards program was recognized and supported by the survey group.
