Abstract
This study examines personality types and how they affect communication iv apprehension in small groups by using McCroskey's PRCA-24 along with the DISC personality test. the PRCA-24 measures the level of communication apprehension (CA) while the DISC profiles a particular personality type. The results suggest that there is a relationship between gender and levels of CA. Both males and females reported significant differences to CA in particular. There were no significant results obtained for levels of small group CA and personality types. There were also no significant results obtained for DISC outcome and gender.
