Abstract
Today's computer systems are developing at a fast rate. This makes it easier to apply the computer to automated system related areas. One of the techniques, which is also rapidly developing and being intensively researched, is remote sensing by use of aerial or satellite images, which can be used in the areas of unmanned navigation, GIS(Geographical Information System), city planning, and geography . Another practical technique, which can be used with remote sensing, is automated target searching. Target searching is used in areas such as robotics and unmanned navigation. However, conventional methods have limitations when applied to target searching on aerial images. These limitations will be discussed in this thesis. In this thesis DWIT and CF methods will be proposed for more precise and powerful automated target searching on aerial images. These methods are invariant to rotation, background, and noise of an image.
