Abstract
In view of the benefits and problems associated with co-disposal of lime and wastewater sludges, the objectives of these studies were: 1. Evaluate changes in sludge handling characteristics during mixing, transporting, and applying combined water and wastewater sludges; 2. Develop correlations between initial soil pH, lime requirements for pH adjustment, and sludge application procedures; and 3. Demonstrate the impact of lime sludge application on soil physical and chemical properties.
