Abstract
This is a creative design thesis. It documents the creative process of costume design as it developed from conception to production for State University Theatre's 2001 spring production of Timothy Mason's Beauty and the Beast. This thesis contains a synopsis of the play, design concepts, research, designs, production notebook, and post-production evaluation. It also includes research images, renderings and production photos in the appendices.
