The following papers were presented at the fifth annual meeting of the South Dakota Academy of Science on November 26, 1919: The Correlation Between the Length of Parent Head and Yield of Progeny in Successive Generations of Clue-Stem Wheat (Minn., 169) by A. N. Hume, Phenyl Ether and Some of Its Derivatives by Arthur L. Haines and Alfred N. Cook, Some Notes on the Atomic Condition by Chas. W. Cuno, and Interpretation of the Sanitary Analysis of Some South Dakota Waters by Alfred N. Cook, Arthur L. Haines, and Orville D. Dunbar.

The following abstracts of papers were presented at the annual meeting: The Incidence of South Dakota by Freeman Ward, and Notes of Some Fossils of Harding County by N. H. Kingsley.
