Abstract
Please be advised that the names listed in the program do not constitute official confirmation of meeting the graduation requirements. The 2018 South Dakota State University Graduate Commencement ceremony will commence with introductions by University President Barry H. Dunn. Honorary marshals are Fereidoon Delfanian, Professor of Mechanical Engineering, and Douglas Malo, Distinguished Professor and Assistant Department Head of Agronomy, Horticulture, and Plant Science. Amy Elliot, Chief Clinical Research Officer at Avera Research Institute Center for Pediatric and Community Research, will deliver the commencement address titled "It's Not Just You." Provost Dennis D. Hedge, Vice President for Academic Affairs, will acknowledge student honors. Charean Williams, a candidate for graduation, will provide comments on behalf of the graduating class.
