Abstract
Please be advised that the individuals listed in the program do not constitute an official confirmation of having met the graduation requirements. The 100th Annual Commencement ceremony will commence with introductions by University President Robert T. Wagner. Serving as honorary marshals are Dr. Ardyce Gilbert, Dean Emeritus of Home Economics, and Harry R. Svec, Assistant Professor Emeritus of General Engineering. The commencement addresses will be delivered by Russell F. Daly, titled "Take It All With You," and Polly K. Foss, titled "Our Future: The Limitless Mind." Dr. George S. McGovern will be honored with a Doctor of Public Service honorary degree, and Charles A. Taylor will receive a Doctor of Science honorary degree. Commissioning of Air Force and Army officers will be conducted by Lt. Col. Danny L. Mencke and Lt. Col. Patrick W. Collins. Dr. Paul E. Nordstrom, Vice President for Academic Affairs, will recognize faculty and student honors.
