Post-Conference Webinar: Helping South Dakota Businesses Thrive: Introducing Census Business Builder Andrew Hait, U.S. Census Bureau 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM The U.S. Census Bureau provides a wealth of information about America's people and businesses, but using the data can be difficult if you aren't familiar with the Bureau's programs and data tools. That's where the Census Business Builder (CBB) comes in. This new suite of tools makes it easier to find key data that can help guide business and planning decisions. This webinar will feature the two versions of Census Business Builder, the Small Business Edition (CBB: SBE) and the Regional Analyst Edition (CBB: RAE). Designed specifically for entrepreneurs and small business owners (and the staff who work with them), the SBE shows data for a single type of business and location. The RAE presents similar data as the SBE, but let regional economic development and planning staff create a demographic and economic profile for their own user-defined, multi-county region. See how these two tools can work together to build stronger businesses and support economic development in South Dakota. |
