Summary
The objective in a sheep enterpreise is, or should be, the economical production of high-quality meat and wool. How well the producer achieves this objective is determined by a combination of several factors. They can be grouped broadly as (1) breeding, (2) feeding and management, and (3) marketing and servicing for consumption. Animal breeding is the first step in the efficient production of sheep and wool.
