Abstract
This study investigated floral service provider perceptions of consumer self disclosure. Research questions were formulated and a survey was distributed. The questionnaire was based on Wheeless' (1978) Revised Self-Disclosure Scale along with five open-ended questions. The survey asked service providers to report on their perceptions of customer self-disclosure, how they respond to consumer self-disclosure, and whether the service providers perceive disclosure to be appropriate during initial interactions.
